hosting and domain names

There are two things you need to have a website - hosting and a domain name. We include hosting as part of our web packages but can also offer hosting only packages.

Hosting

If you want to build and manage your own website and only need hosting space, we are happy to oblige.  Contact us to discuss a suitable secure web space/bandwidth package.

Domain Names

Your domain name is your web address.  If you don't have a domain name we can search for and register domain names on your behalf. 

There are a few golden rules when buying a domain name - try and choose one that is memorable, isn't too long and ideally whose spelling is the same as your company name.

What domain name ending do I need?

If you are operating in the UK, you may only need a .co.uk domain name, but if you have an international market you may want to register a .com domain name too.  These can all point to one website but will help your search engine rankings overseas.

Costs of registering a domain name, payable annually:

• .co.uk domain registered at a cost of £19.95 per annum
• .com domain registered at a cost of £29.95 per annum
