Our challenge was to take an original off-the-shelf packaged website and turn it into something extraordinary. BMC wanted a site with the technical depth and visual strength to deal with the ongoing demands of a rapidly developing eCommerce business. The site's techie gadgetry had to be both easy to use and visually striking.
Having developed the new software platform, we then developed a new look – and Brand ID – to reflect the company’s growth into the online digital market, and incorporated the new ‘memory chooser’. The new software platform includes advanced payment gateways, an HTML newsletter module and advertisements. We’ve also provided some great integration with Google to make the adwords process as easy as possible and to ensure that out of stock items are automatically removed from adwords campaigns.
The website is a runaway success. PayPal refers bmcdigital.co.uk to ecommerce customers as an example of how to build a professional ecommerce website. BMCdigital has also been featured as a Gold merchant in PayPal’s grand giveaway promotion.
