In technical language: Enable the client to evolve its existing secure online research database to meet the expectations set by web 2.0 and beyond. A formal legacy takeover of the existing bespoke software was carried out using VB/ASP on SQL Server 7 then SQL2000. New bulk emailing software has been implemented and reporting is now more detailed and interactive.
In English: Implement a fresh, new design, enhance the charting system and add new sections for the tanker department, integrated to a new web platform, providing customised web pages for all users. Works beautifully, client happy.
